berry in monsters ball features her role as Leticia, whose life
changes when she meets Hank. Hank's life also changes when
he meets Leticia. Their similar experience of a family
tragedy connects them at first, and from there, no matter what
they find out about each other, they consciously choose to stay
together. They could have just as easily chosen to part
ways, especially with the pressures of their community, but
these two individuals seem to have found their courage in the
end.
