About michael
rady and his first big role in The Sisterhood Of The Traveling
Pants movie.
If you happen
to check HBO when you have some spare time for an entire movie
and notice that The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants is on as
one of the choices and wonder what in the world it’s about,
the way the movie opens gives you a pretty good idea and your
interest is piqued and you continue watching.
You are in the mood for something where no guns are shot,
where there is some romance, decent dialogue and finally where
you get to watch the work of mostly unknown actors and thus
everything is “refreshing.”
Everyone in
the film is obviously talented.
The biggest surprise, however, is michael rady.
There’s the obvious fact that he looks great on the big
screen, but any casting director would recognize that behind the
gorgeous face is something else that makes the person be able to
light up the scene. It
would be interesting to see him in another large role to find
out how far he can explore his acting.
He can play the love-interest, romantic character, but
how about other roles? Time
will tell. He has a few movies slotted as “post- or pre-production”
where he’s credited but it seems he may not be given enough
screen time.
Should we be
lucky to see more of his work, newcomer Michael Rady is a
refreshing talent on the big screen.
