because of his “bad boy” image in the years after, at that
time it would have been more difficult to see Johnny Depp play
the Willy Wonka role. However,
the fact he made his Edward Scissorhands character very
likable and opposite of his tabloid image, it is not a surprise
to see him push the borders of his acting ability even farther
with Willy Wonka.
