christian bale in the movie, Harsh Times.
In this movie, he accepts a role in which he is not the
clear cut, “morally smitten hero,” but rather a man going
through some “harsh times” and finding ways to make the best
of it while insane after discharge from the military and
unemployed. The
movie takes you on a journey of having careless, youthful fun to
utter shock, in a good way.
There are plenty of scenes where Bale shows he can act,
in this movie.
