Routh superman costume is a bit different from the primary red
and blue colors of previous costumes. For Returns, the red is darker, like a burnt red or maroon,
the blue is dustier looking and the yellow is not as bright. Also, the shorts are cut a bit shorter. This is a good move for the costume designer to set apart
this character from previous features so it gives Returns a
fresh, new look.
It will not
be a surprise to see this costume for Halloween 2006, for
children and adults.

on hips rather than on waste and not a "hi-cut" like
